This week Prof Florian Martin-Bariteau of the University of Ottawa tells us about his current research focuses on technology law, ethics and policy, with a special interest in blockchain, #AI, cybersecurity, and intellectual property. Dr. Florian Martin-Bariteau is an Assistant Professor of Law and Technology at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section and the Director of the University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society. As a legal scholar, his research focuses on Technology and Intellectual Property Law; with a special interest in Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Secrets and Whistleblowers. He is the recipient of the 2018-2019 Common Law Emergent Researcher Award.
